Each piece is proudly designed and made in Canada, produced in small batches in Vancouver, BC. By keeping production local, we can ensure that every piece is made to the highest standards, and that every seamster is paid fairly. And instead of the typical assembly line – where each person only works on one part – we chose a more integrated, circular model in our small production batches.

The fabric is beautiful and the garment is well made. I am sorry that I cannot wear it b/c the neckline is very open & plunging, something not very evident in the photos. The suggestion that the shirt can be worn back-to-front is unrealistic b/c of the placement of shoulder seams and the seam down the back.
I was surprised that the matching pants which I ordered at the same time, were delivered separately, a process that increases the use of plastics as well as delivery charges and motor vehicle emissions. Finally, while I am quite willing to incur a charge to return the 2 items, I am not happy about that charge being doubled simply b/c of your choices about delivery processes related to a single outfit.

I love the top. The fabric, style, and color are beautiful and very comfortable.
However, this is the problem I have. I originally ordered my normal size. However, as with most clothing companies, it took a few orders to figure out my correct size. I also tried the Kyoto pants and top. Each item has to be a separate return...even if they came in the same bag....with return charge of $20 per item. So far, I have paid at least $100 in returns. I think this is a flaw that the company needs to address. I understand the need to pay return charges, but $20 per item is too much!
Monos does have a nice bonus credit if you want to buy something else, but please make it easier to try the clothing.

Beautiful and quality construction and fabric. Washed well with few wrinkles.
The design is for a thinner person and sizing is large. I usually take an X-Large for the ease of dressing as I’m in a wheelchair. This is.true to size. Usually I find that’s not true. Great travel outfit and oh so soft.

Travelled in it, lounge in it, sleep in it, tuck it into some jeans and go out in it! It's so so so comfy. I literally can't say enough good things about it. The fabric is divine and feels so gentle on the skin. It fits a little large, so keep that in mind when ordering sizes. The ivory colour is thick and not see through at all. Love it. Will buy the matching pants soon!
