Coverage is applied per item, so you can choose which pieces to protect. You can add it to one, some, or all of your luggage. Coverage stays with the original piece and can't be moved to another. With Pro, it carries over automatically to any replacement we provide under warranty.

You'll receive a credit toward your next Monos suitcase when you return your current piece – 15% of your original item's purchase price with Essential Coverage, or 30% with Pro Coverage. Once you use your trade-in credit, coverage on your current piece ends. Your new suitcase can be covered with a new Essential or Pro plan.

If your luggage is damaged by airline handling (cracks, zipper damage, or major denting), we’ll repair it. Please send us a photo and airline claim reference.

A functional impact is damage or an issue that affects how your suitcase actually works or performs its intended purpose – as opposed to damage that's purely cosmetic (scuffs, scratches, or scrapes on the shell, minor discolouration or fading, small dents), which isn't covered.

Wheels, locks, and handles are already covered under our base Lifetime Warranty.

With Lifetime Warranty+ coverage, we'll issue Monos store credit to help replace your lost suitcase – $50 with Essential, $150 with Pro. Please share the airline's lost baggage documentation and confirmation. Once you use your lost luggage credit, coverage on that piece ends. Your new suitcase can be covered with a new Essential or Pro plan.

No – this is a one-time upgrade. You’ll only pay once to upgrade your Lifetime Warranty with either Essential or Pro Coverage.

There are no renewals, no hidden fees, and no expiration as long as you own your luggage. It’s a permanent extension of your coverage for real-world travel.

Yes, as long as your suitcase was purchased from an authorized Monos retailer, you’re eligible to add Essential or Pro Coverage.
