With flowing lines and a breezy, relaxed fit, the Algarve Shirt Dress makes the transition from poolside to dinner on the terrace effortless. An optional belt closure allows for versatile styling, and the dress can be worn open over an outfit or swimsuit, or buttoned on its own. Crafted from airy-yet-durable washed linen, the Algarve Shirt Dress can be dressed up or down, in warm weather or cooler climes.

- OEKO-TEX® certified washed linen
- Naturally soft, ultra-comfortable, and breathable fabric
- Corozo buttons are 100% natural and derived from the nut of the tagua palm
- Hand wash or machine wash cold on delicate cycle with like colours, inside out
- Do not bleach
- Dry flat
- Iron low
- Maxi length dress that is suitable for all season wear
- Oversized a-line fit that can also be styled as an overcoat
- Pleats at the shoulder seam add just enough volume for a relaxed silhouette
- Removable self-fabric belt to cinch in the waist for a fitted look
- Classic shirt details featuring a point collar and button-front closure
- Dropped shoulders and side seam pockets
- Perfectly oversized elbow-length sleeves for ease and comfort

Each piece is proudly designed and made in Canada, produced in small batches in Vancouver, BC. By keeping production local, we can ensure that every piece is made to the highest standards, and that every seamster is paid fairly. And instead of the typical assembly line – where each person only works on one part – we chose a more integrated, circular model in our small production batches.

These are extremely well-made and match the price point well. Linen is nicely woven with minor slubbing/ imperfections. The seams are well-finished and hems secure. This is a quality job for clothing, which I rarely see these days. Very happy with them!

My new Dune Grass unisex Algarve shirt is a perfect fit, is made with a mid-weight linen fabric.
I've been looking for this style of linen shirt for years. The colour is beautiful, neutral but such an interesting green shade. Now....perhaps Monos will consider one in charcoal as well?

You can change the style with/without the belt.
I like both ways. The dress with belt and short boots makes me stylish and the dress without belt becomes my room wear. I really like the design.
