Overall, I’m pleased. A couple issues that could be improved in V2...
My Kiyo arrived today and there were a couple features I was very pleased and surprised by. They don't list these in the description, but they really should:
* The UVC light automatically turns off if the cap is not on the bottle. This is a great safety measure as UVC is actually harmful to look at and bad for human skin if exposed too long. I'm glad this feature is there!
* The bottom of the bottle is a silicone pad, so when you set it down on surfaces, it is both stable and *quiet.* No loud clang of a metal bottle being set on a countertop.
I gave this only 4 starts for one annoying thing and one minor (but still noticeable gripe):
Annoying thing: the cap is super sensitive. I can touch anywhere on or around the icon and the blue light turns on. This means when I’m just simply taking off the cap to drink, the light turns on. Luckily, it does have that auto turn off feature so it doesn’t stay on long, but I worry this will just use up battery faster.
One minor gripe: the carry handle is nice but is not as pictured - I have the Salt color and the silicone loop is the right shape, but the blue doesn't match the bottle color and it just seems unfinished - you can see the moulding seams and they are a bit ragged, like they didn't take the time to clean up the loop after the moulding process. Given how sleek the rest of the bottle looks, the cheap look of the loop really stands out. One might believe the loop was a cheap third party amazon buy, rather than something that came…

Hi Mel! Thank you for taking the time for your in-depth review. In regards to the loop. That is odd as the finish should not be like that with the edges. We are happy to send you a completely new one as a replacement and will take this to our QC team! Please email us help@monos.com and we will get one to you right away.
